Marine Transportation System Advisory Council Seeks Members

The Maritime Administration is seeking no later than Oct. 18 applications for membership on the Marine Transportation System National Advisory Council. This council advises and makes recommendations to the Department of Transportation on impediments to the effective use and expansion of U.S. marine highways; waterways, ports and their intermodal connections; shipbuilding capacity; and guidelines for the development of a national freight policy from a marine transportation perspective.
