USDA Reviewing Info Collections on Imports of Mangoes, Oranges

The Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is accepting comments through Aug. 9 on the proposed extension of information collections associated with the regulations for the importation of mangoes from the Philippines and Unshu oranges from Japan.

- information collection activities associated with the importation of mangoes from Guimaras Island in the Philippines include box labeling, phytosanitary certificates with additional declarations, trust fund agreements and import permits

- information collection activities associated with the importation of Unshu oranges from the islands of Kyushu, Honshu and Shikoku in Japan include box labeling, an Application to Import Plants and Plant Products (PPQ Form 587) and a Foreign Site Certificate of Inspection and/or Treatment (PPQ Form 203).
