USDA Reviewing Phytosanitary Certificate for Imports of Mangoes from Australia

The Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is requesting comments no later than Jan. 12, 2015, on the proposed extension of an information collection regarding the importation of mangoes from Australia. Specifically, each shipment of such fruit must be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued by the national plant protection organization of Australia with an additional declaration that the mangoes were inspected prior to export and found free of certain pests and treated in accordance with the regulations.
