Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The International Trade Commission has terminated without the imposition of import restrictions patent infringement investigation 337-TA-873 of certain integrated circuit devices and products containing the same, including mobile smartphones. Specifically, the ITC has determined not to review the presiding administrative law judge’s initial determination granting an unopposed motion to terminate this investigation as to the remaining respondents (located in Taiwan, Korea, Finland and the U.S.) based on Tela Innovations Inc.’s withdrawal of its complaint. Earlier this investigation was terminated with respect to three other respondents based on settlement and consent order stipulations.
