FTZ Production Authority Approved for Insulin, Elevator Facilities

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved production under zone procedures at the MannKind Corporation facilities in Danbury, Conn., which are used for the production of inhalable insulin. The FTZ Board recently approved the establishment of subzone 76B at these facilities.

The FTZ Board has also approved production under zone procedures at the Kone Inc. facility in Allen, Texas, which is used for the research, testing and manufacturing of elevator logic control enclosure electrification panels and pick-and-pack elevator part kits.
