Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The International Trade Administration has issued an affirmative final determination that the antidumping duty order on uncovered innerspring units from China is being circumvented. Specifically, the ITA determined that innerspring units completed and assembled in Malaysia by Reztec Industries Sdn Bhd and exported to the U.S. are circumventing this order. The ITA will therefore continue to direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to suspend liquidation and require AD cash deposits on all unliquidated entries of such merchandise that were entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after May 23, 2012.
