Import Restrictions on Ink Application Devices for Patent Infringement

The International Trade Commission has issued a limited exclusion order prohibiting the unlicensed entry of certain ink application devices and components thereof that are manufactured abroad or imported by or on behalf of Yiwu Beyond Tattoo Equipments Co. Ltd., T-Tech Tattoo Device Inc. or Guangzhou Pengcheng Cosmetology Firm by reason of infringement of certain patents owned by MT.Derm GmbH and Nouveau Costmetique USA Inc. The ITC has also determined that the bond for the importation of infringing articles during the 60-day presidential review period will be in the amount of 100% of the entered value of the imported subject articles of all defaulting respondents.
