Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Bureau of Industry and Security is accepting comments through Aug. 8 on the proposed extension of the following information collections.

- Delivery Verification Procedure for Imports (form BIS-647P): Foreign governments occasionally require U.S. importers of strategic commodities to furnish their foreign supplier with a U.S. delivery verification certificate validating that the commodities shipped to the U.S. were in fact received.

- International Import Certificate (form BIS-645P): When required by the exporting country, importers of strategic commodities submit this certificate to certify that those goods will not be reexported except in accordance with U.S. export control regulations. The U.S. government, in turn, certifies that such representations have been made.
