Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Department of Agriculture is accepting through Aug. 21 comments on information collections concerning the importation of fruits and vegetables. APHIS requires phytosanitary certificates, fruit fly monitoring records and the labeling of boxes to allow a number of fruits and vegetable to be imported under specified condition from certain parts of the world. The information gathered is used as a guide to the intensity of the inspection that USDA must conduct when the shipment arrives.
