Following are highlights of regulatory effective dates and deadlines and federal agency meetings coming up in the next week.

April 6 – deadline for comments on possible relaxation on meat imports from Croatia

April 6 – deadline for comments on proposed FTZ production activity at auto, auto parts facilities

April 7 – deadline for comments to ITC on possible IPR remedial orders on TV sets

April 7 – deadline for comments on expanded FTZ authority for mobile phone, footwear, electric facilities

April 8 – free ST&R webinar: Lowering Import Duties by Using the Miscellaneous Trade Bill

April 8 – deadline for comments to USDA on import duty relief for pima cotton users, wool apparel makers

April 8 – deadline for comments on proposed safety standard for recreational off-highway vehicles

April 8 – meeting on strengthening trade ties with Africa

April 8 – effective date of conditions of entry for vessels visiting either of two ports in Yemen

April 9 – effective date of final rule prohibiting imports of four constrictor snakes

April 10 – deadline for comments to ITC on Earned Import Allowance Program for Dominican Republic

April 10 – deadline for comments to CBP on revocation or modification of classification rulings on lawn ornaments, computer headsets
