Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Hot-Rolled Steel. The International Trade Commission has made final affirmative antidumping injury determinations on hot-rolled steel flat products from Australia, Brazil, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Turkey, and the United Kingdom and a final affirmative countervailing injury determination on such goods from Brazil and Korea. The ITC also determined that imports of hot-rolled steel found to be subsidized by the government or Turkey are negligible.

The ITC also found that imports subject to the International Trade Administration’s affirmative critical circumstances determinations are not likely to undermine seriously the remedial effect of the AD and CV duty orders on hot-rolled steel from Brazil and the AD duty order on imports from Japan.

Pure Magnesium. The ITC has instituted a sunset review of the AD duty order on pure magnesium from China, which will result in either the revocation or continuation of this order. Comments are due by Nov. 2.

Artists’ Canvas. The ITC has instituted a sunset review of the AD duty order on artists’ canvas from China, which will result in either the revocation or continuation of this order. Comments are due by Nov. 2.
