Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Glycine. Pursuant to the settlement of a lawsuit, the International Trade Administration has amended the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on glycine from China for the period March 1, 2012, through Feb. 28, 2013. The amended weighted average dumping margin for exporter Evonik Rexim (Nanning) Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. and Evonik Rexim S.A.S. is 155.89 percent. AD duties based on this rate will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review. However, as stipulated in the court order, this change has no effect on entries not made during the period of review and does not established a revised cash deposit rate for Evonik.

Potassium Permanganate. The International Trade Commission has scheduled an expedited sunset review of the AD duty order on potassium permanganate from China. Comments are due by Jan. 5, 2016, and may not contain new factual information.
