The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has granted authority for subzone status for activity related to the manufacturing of polysilicon at the Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation facility in Hemlock, Mich. (subzone 140C). This authority is subject to a restriction prohibiting the admission of foreign-status silicon metal subject to an antidumping or countervailing duty order and to a requirement that the company submit supplemental reporting data for the purpose of monitoring by FTZ staff.
