Expanded FTZ Authority for Illinois and Georgia Facilities, N.C. Notification Received

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has recently announced the following actions.

- authorized expanded production authority within subzones 22F and 22S at Abbott Laboratories Inc. facilities in the North Chicago and Lake County, Ill., area that are used for the production of a wide variety of pharmaceutical and diagnostic products, medical devices and equipment

- authorized production activity within FTZ 26 at the Suzuki Mfg. of America Corp. facilities in Rome, Jonesboro and Cartersville, Ga., which are used for the production of all-terrain vehicles and related components

- received from the Piedmont Triad Partnership, grantee of FTZ 230, a notification of proposed production activity at the Oracle Flexible Packaging Inc. facility in Winston-Salem, N.C., which is used for the production of aluminum foil-backed paperboard and to laminate plastic film (comments due no later than May 28)
