FTZ Board Actions on Facilities for Soft Drinks, Furniture and Wind Turbine Parts

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved the establishment of subzone 7N at the Pepsi Cola Puerto Rico Distributing LLC facility in Toa Baja, P.R.

Separately, the FTZ Board is accepting through May 20 comments on notifications from the following facilities seeking to extend indefinitely their current authority to conduct cut-and-sew activity using certain foreign micro-denier suede upholstery fabrics to produce upholstered furniture and related parts.

- the Bauhaus USA Inc. facility within site 16 of FTZ 158 in Saltillo, Miss.

- the H.M. Richards Inc. facility within site 15 of FTZ 158 in Guntown, Miss.

- the Lane Furniture Industries Inc. facilities in Belden, Saltillo and Verona, Miss.

Finally, the FTZ Board has received a notification of proposed production activity for the Siemens Energy Inc. facilities within FTZ 161 in Hutchinson, Kan., which are used for the production of wind turbine nacelles and hubs. Comments on this notification are also due no later than May 20.
