The Foreign-Trade Zones Board is inviting comments through Oct. 28 on an application for a new FTZ under the alternative site framework in Ontario County, N.Y. The proposed service area of this zone would be Ontario, Wayne, Seneca, Yates, Steuben and Livingston counties in New York, adjacent to the Rochester U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. There are currently two other zones (FTZ 141 and FTZ 284) for that POE.

The applicant is also requesting approval of an initial subzone for Crosman Corporation with two sites. Specific production approvals are not being sought at this time.
