Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The departments of State, Commerce and Transportation announced recently that they are reviewing claims that three foreign airlines have received and are benefitting from subsidies from the governments of the United Arab Emirates and Qatar that are distorting the global aviation market.

To solicit insights and feedback before any decisions are made regarding what action, if any, should be taken, the departments are establishing an open forum by which any interested stakeholder may submit their views on this subject and have access to the information submitted by others. Comments may be submitted at this website using docket numbers DOT-OST-2015-0082, DOS-2015-0016 or DOC-2015-0001. Review of any new material submitted is expected to begin by the end of May.
