Ex-Im Bank Asked to Finance Export of Communication Satellite for Eastern Europe

The Export-Import Bank of the United States has received an application for final commitment for a long-term loan or financial guarantee to support the export of U.S.-manufactured satellites as well as U.S. launch services and launch insurance. These exports willbe used by a Bulgarian-based company to finance manufacture, launch and insurance in support of a communication satellite that is expected to provide additional capacity to broadcasting and telecommunications companies in Central and Eastern Europe. Comments on this application are due no later than Dec. 3.
