Export Committees on Information Systems, Sensors and Instrumentation to Meet

The Bureau of Industry and Security’s Information Systems Technical Advisory Committee will hold an open meeting July 23 in Washington, D. C. This committee advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to information systems equipment and technology. The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes working group reports and industry presentations.

The BIS Sensors and Instrumentation Technical Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting July 22 in Washington, D.C. This committee advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to sensors and instrumentation equipment and technology. The public session of the meeting will include remarks from BIS management and industry presentations.

Each open session will be accessible via teleconference to 20 participants on a first come, first served basis. In addition, a limited number of seats will be available at each open session, but reservations are not accepted.
