Export Committees on Information Systems, Sensors and Instrumentation to Meet

The Bureau of Industry and Security’s Information Systems Technical Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting Jan. 22 and 23 in Washington, D. C. This committee advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to information systems equipment and technology. The open session of the meeting will include working group reports, industry presentations and new business. This session will be accessible via teleconference to 20 participants on a first come, first served basis, and requests to join the conference are due no later than Jan. 15. In addition, a limited number of seats will be available at the public session, but reservations are not accepted.

The BIS Sensors and Instrumentation Technical Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting Jan. 28 in Washington, D.C. This committee advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to sensors and instrumentation equipment and technology. The open session of the meeting will include remarks from BIS management, industry presentations and new business. This session will be accessible via teleconference to 20 participants on a first come, first served basis, and requests to join the conference are due by Jan. 21. In addition, a limited number of seats will be available at the public session, but reservations are not accepted.
