Export Advisory Committees to Meet

The Bureau of Industry and Security has announced partially open meetings of the following export advisory committees at Department of Commerce headquarters in Washington, D.C.

- The Information Systems Technical Advisory Committee will meet Nov. 6-7 to receive working group reports and industry presentations on modular instruments and electronic design roadmap.

- The Materials Processing Equipment Technical Advisory Committee will meet Nov. 5 to discuss the results of the last, and proposals for the next, Wassenaar Arrangement meeting and to receive a report on proposed and recently issued changes to the Export Administration Regulations.

- The Sensors and Instrumentation Technical Advisory Committee will meet Nov. 12 to hear remarks from BIS management and industry presentations.

- The Transportation and Related Equipment Technical Advisory Committee will meet Nov. 13 to receive status reports by working group chairs as well as public comments and proposals.

The open sessions of these meetings will each be accessible via teleconference to 20 participants on a first come, first served basis. In addition, a limited number of seats will be available at each public session, but reservations are not accepted.
