FTZ Board Moves to Expand Production at Engine, Hydraulic Hose Line Facilities

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved production under zone procedures at the Mercury Marine facilities within subzone 41H in Fond du Lac, Wis. Mercury Marine already had authority to produce marine inboard, outboard and jet pump engines, stern drives, transom assemblies and related components at these facilities, and the FTZ Board has now approved the addition of new finished products and foreign components to the scope of authority.

The FTZ Board has also received from the Virginia Port Authority, grantee of FTZ 20, a notification of proposed production activity at the Becker Hydraulics USA Inc. facility in Chesapeake, Va.., which is used for the production of hydraulic hose lines used in agricultural equipment, construction equipment and marine engine applications. Comments are due no later than Aug. 5.
