Export Control Requirements to be Added to Energy Regulations: Comment Period Extended

The Department of Energy has reopened comments through August 23 on a proposed rule that would amend the Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation to add requirements for DOE contractors concerning compliance with laws, regulations and directives governing the control of exports of items such as unclassified information, materials, technology, equipment or software. The comment period previously closed on July 12. The DOE states that this rule addresses several concerns. For more information, click here.
