Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Department of Energy is imposing energy conservation standards for specific rotodynamic clean water pumps used in a variety of commercial, industrial, agricultural and municipal applications. The DOE concluded that these standards represent the maximum improvement in energy efficiency that is technologically feasible and economically justified and would result in significant conservation of energy. The effective date of this rule is March 28 but compliance will only be required for covered products manufactured in or imported into the U.S. on and after Jan. 27, 2020.
