Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Department of Energy is imposing tougher energy conservation standards for residential boilers after having determined that the amended standards represent the maximum improvement in energy efficiency that is technologically feasible and economically justified and would result in significant conservation of energy. The effective date of this rule is March 15 but compliance with the revised standards will only be required for covered products manufactured in or imported into the U.S. on and after Jan. 15, 2021.
