Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Department of Energy has initiated a rulemaking and data collection process to consider establishing energy conservation standards for computer and battery backup systems. To inform interested parties and to facilitate this process, DOE has prepared a framework document that details the analytical approach and scope of coverage for the rulemaking and identifies several issues on which the department is particularly interested in receiving comments by Sept. 2.
