Electronic Device Cases. In investigations 337-TA-867/861 concerning certain cases for portable electronic devices, the International Trade Commission has terminated an advisory opinion proceeding requested by one of the respondents to determine whether certain of its products are covered by the general exclusion order the ITC issued against such items that had violated various claims of a patent owned by Speculative Product Design LLC. The ITC notes that the Speck opposed this request and that the respondent subsequently withdrew it.

In-Ear Headphones. The International Trade Commission has terminated without the imposition of import restrictions patent infringement investigation 337-TA-912 of certain earpiece devices having positioning and retaining structure and components thereof. This termination is based on a settlement agreement between complainant Bose Corporation and the respondents, which are located in Ireland and the U.S.
