The International Trade Commission has terminated without the imposition of import restrictions patent infringement investigation 337-TA-922 of certain devices containing non-volatile memory and products containing same. The products at issue are used in goods such as automotive components, “infotainment” systems, access points, wireless local area network controllers and network gateway systems.

Complainants Macronix International Co. Ltd. and Macronix America Inc. had initially requested a general exclusion order and cease and desist orders against the respondents, which are located in Thailand, the United Kingdom and the U.S. Earlier this year, however, both sides filed a joint motion to terminate this investigation based on a settlement agreement.
