Import Restrictions Imposed on Patent Infringing Dental Implants

In investigation 337-TA-934, the International Trade Commission has issued a limited exclusion order prohibiting the unlicensed entry of dental implants that infringe specific patent claims asserted by Nobel Biocare Services AG And Nobel Biocare USA LLC. The ITC has also determined that the bond under which infringing goods may continue to enter the U.S. during the 60-day period the president has to review the ITC remedy will be $120 per unit. The ITC did not issue a cease and desist order against any of the respondents.
