Following are highlights of regulatory effective dates and deadlines and federal agency meetings coming up in the next week.

July 18 – deadline for comments to FTZ Board on reorganization of zones in New Mexico and California

July 18 – effective date of revocation or modification of rulings on classification, drawback, origin marking

July 18 – deadline for comments to State Dept. on information collection on exports of unclassified defense articles

July 18 – deadline for comments to DOE on proposed energy conservation standards for compressors

July 19 – deadline for comments to State Dept. on form DS-2031, shrimp exporter/importer declaration

July 19 – DOT meeting on port capacity, short sea shipping, other maritime topics

July 22 – deadline for comments to CBP on proposed revocation and modification of classification rulings

July 22 – deadline for applications for membership on the Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa

July 23 – implementation of fourth phase of ACE transition

July 23 – effective date of mandatory ACE filing for quota entries
