U.S. Customs and Border Protection is requesting public comments no later than June 17 on the proposed extension of CBP Form 450, the Caribbean Basin Trade Partnership Act Certification of Origin. This form collects data such as contact information for the exporter, importer and producer and information about the goods for which preferential duty treatment under CBTPA is being claimed. Importers are required to have this form in their possession at the time of such claims and to provide it to CBP upon request.
