Corrosion-Resistant Steel. A petition filed June 3 with the International Trade Administration and the International Trade Commission alleges that imports of certain corrosion-resistant steel products from China, India, Italy, Korea and Taiwan are being sold at less than fair value and benefiting from countervailable subsidies. Corrosion-resistant steel is steel sheet that has been coated or plated with a corrosion- or heat-resistant metal to prevent corrosion and thereby extend the service life of products made from the steel. It is used in the manufacture of automobiles and trucks, appliances, industrial equipment and agricultural equipment as well as in construction applications.

Off-Road Tires. The ITA has corrected its amended final affirmative CV duty determination on new pneumatic off-the-road tires from China to specify that the CV cash deposit rate for Tianjin United Tire & Rubber International Co. Ltd. is 3.93 percent, effective Nov. 9, 2013.

Silicomanganese. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on silicomanganese from India for the period May 1, 2013, through April 30, 2014, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of zero for Nava Bharat Ventures Limited.
