Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Drug Enforcement Administration has issued an order establishing the final adjusted 2015 aggregate production quotas for several controlled substances in schedules I and II of the Controlled Substances Act. These amounts represent those quantities of the covered substances to be manufactured in the U.S. to provide for the estimated medical, scientific, research and industrial needs of the U.S., lawful export requirements, and the establishment and maintenance of reserve stocks. These quotas do not include imports of controlled substances for industrial processes.

This order does not adjust the 2015 assessment of annual needs for ephedrine, pseudoephedrine and phenylpropanolamine to be manufactured in and imported into the U.S.
