Commercial Labs and Gaugers Approved

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has announced that the following companies have been accredited as commercial laboratories and/or approved as commercial gaugers.

- effective May 9, 2013, AmSpec Services LLC of Everett, Mass., has been approved to gauge and accredited to test petroleum and petroleum products, organic chemicals and vegetable oils for customs purposes

- effective Feb. 20, 2013, AmSpec Services LLC of Linden, N.J.,Notice has been approved to gauge and accredited to test petroleum and petroleum products, organic chemicals and vegetable oils for customs purposes

- effective May 3, 2013, AmSpec Services LLC of Seabrook, Texas, has been approved to gauge petroleum and petroleum products, organic chemicals and vegetable oils for customs purposes

- effective July 18, 2013,Saybolt LP of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., has been approved to gauge and accredited to test petroleum and petroleum products, organic chemicals and vegetable oils for customs purposes

- effective July 17, 2013, SGS North America Inc. of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., has been approved to gauge and accredited to test petroleum and petroleum products, organic chemicals and vegetable oils for customs purposes

- effective July 11, 2013, Saybolt LP of Jacksonville, Fla., has been approved to gauge petroleum and petroleum products for customs purposes

- effective July 31, 2013, American Cargo Assurance of Sulphur, La., has been approved to gauge petroleum, petroleum products, organic chemicals and vegetable oils for customs purposes
