Civil Nuclear Trade Committee to Meet Oct. 16
The Department of Commerce’s Civil Nuclear Trade Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting Oct. 16 in Washington, D.C. This committee advises the DOC on the development and administration of programs to expand U.S. exports of civil nuclear goods and services in accordance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations, including advice on how U.S. civil nuclear goods and services export policies, programs and activities will affect the industry’s competitiveness and ability to participate in the international market.
The open session of the Oct. 16 meeting will include an update on the Civil Nuclear Trade Initiative and a discussion on civil nuclear trade promotion activities. Members of the public wishing to attend the meeting must notify David Kincaid at (202) 482-1706 no later than Oct. 11. Written comments intended for consideration at this meeting should also be submitted no later than Oct. 11.
