Civil Nuclear Trade Advisory Committee to Meet April 30

The Department of Commerce’s Civil Nuclear Trade Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting April 30 at DOC headquarters in Washington, D.C. This committee offers advice to the U.S. government regarding the development and administration of programs to expand U.S. exports of civil nuclear goods and services in accordance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations, including how U.S. policies, programs and activities will affect the U.S. civil nuclear industry’s competitiveness and ability to participate in the international market.

The public session of the April 30 meeting will include an update on the Civil Nuclear Trade Initiative and a discussion of civil nuclear trade promotion activities. Public seating at this session is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Those wishing to attend must notify DOC no later than April 25. Written comments intended for consideration during the meeting are also due by April 25.
