Civil Nuclear Trade Advisory Committee to Meet

The Department of Commerce’s Civil Nuclear Trade Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting June 9 in Washington, D.C. This committee advises DOC regarding the development and administration of programs to expand U.S. exports of civil nuclear goods and services in accordance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations, including advice on how U.S. policies, programs and activities will affect the U.S. civil nuclear industry’s competitiveness and ability to participate in the international market.

The open session of the upcoming meeting will include an update on the Civil Nuclear Trade Initiative and a discussion on civil nuclear trade promotion activities. Those wishing to attend this session or to submit comments for consideration during the meeting should notify DOC no later than June 3.
