Civil Nuclear Trade Committee to Hold Partially Open Meeting Feb. 27

The Department of Commerce’s Civil Nuclear Trade Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting Feb. 27 at DOC headquarters in Washington, D.C. This committee provides advice on the development and administration of programs to expand U.S. exports of civil nuclear goods and services in accordance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations, including how U.S. civil nuclear goods and services export policies, programs and activities will affect the U.S. civil nuclear industry’s competitiveness and ability to participate in the international market.

The agenda for the open portion of the upcoming meeting includes an update on the Civil Nuclear Trade Initiative and a discussion of civil nuclear trade promotion activities. Public seating at this session is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and members of the public wishing to attend must notify DOC no later than Feb. 21. Comments intended for consideration during the meeting are also due no later than Feb. 21.
