Ex-Im Bank Asked to Finance Airliner Exports to China

The Export-Import Bank of the United States has received an application for final commitment for a long-term loan or financial guarantee to support the export of U.S.-manufactured Boeing 787 and possibly other wide-body, long-haul aircraft to China. These aircraft are intended to provide airline service in China and between China and various regional and international destinations. Comments on this proposed transaction are due no later than Oct. 8.
