Ex-Im Bank Asked to Finance Exports of Aircraft to Korea

The Export-Import Bank of the United States has received an application for a long-term loan to support the export of U.S.-manufactured Boeing B747 and B777 cargo aircraft to Korea for the transportation of air cargo between Korea and other countries. The total value of the transaction is in excess of $100 million, and the items being exported may be used to produce exports or provide services in competition with the exportation of goods or provision of services by a U.S. industry. Interested parties may submit comments on this transaction no later than Oct. 22.
