Ex-Im Bank Asked to Finance Passenger Aircraft Exports to Australia, China

The Export-Import Bank of the United States has received separate applications for final commitment for a long-term loan or financial guarantee to support the export of (a) Boeing 777, 747 and 737 aircraft to China, where they will be used for airline service in China and between China and international destinations, and (b) Boeing 737 aircraft to Australia, where they will be used for short-haul passenger air service within Australia and from Australia to regional destinations. Comments on these applications are due no later than Aug. 1.
