CBP Finalizes Panama FTA Regulations

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has adopted as final with no changes, effective June 20, its October 2013 interim regulations implementing the preferential tariff treatment and other customs-related provisions of the U.S.-Panama Trade Promotion Agreement. These regulations address issues such as the procedure for claiming preferential treatment under the agreement, rules of origin and recordkeeping.
