The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved the application to expand the service area of FTZ 124, the Port of South Louisiana, to include Tangipahoa Parrish, adjacent to the Granmercy U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. This reorganization occurs under the Alternative Site Framework, and is subject to the FTZ Act and the Board’s regulations, including Section 400.13, and to the Board’s standard 2,000-acre activation limit for the zone.
