U.S., Korea Sign Pact on Supply Chain Security

The Department of Homeland Security reports that during a July 5 visit to Seoul DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation between the U.S. and Korea on global supply chain security. This MOU includes provisions on strengthening air cargo security, developing new supply chain technologies, conducting joint investigations and promoting common standards for assessing supply chain risk. No further information has yet been made available.
