Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The WTO announced Dec. 22 that Korea has filed a request for consultations with the United States over certain U.S. antidumping measures on Korean oil country tubular goods and the investigation underlying such measures. A copy of the request for consultations has not yet been publicly released but will be disclosed shortly. The two sides have approximately two months to reach a mutually-acceptable understanding without resorting to litigation. If an agreement is not reached, Korea may request adjudication by a dispute settlement panel.
