Illinois FTZ Plans Expansion; New Subzone at Pharmaceutical Plants
The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from the Bi-State Authority, grantee of FTZ 146, a request for authority to reorganize this zone under the alternative site framework. The proposed service area includes Clay, Crawford, Edwards, Hamilton, Lawrence, Richland and Wayne counties in Illinois, within and adjacent to the Evansville U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. Comments on this application are due no later than July 29.
The FTZ Board has also approved the establishment of subzone 38F at the Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. facilities in North Wales, Chalfont, Kutztown and Sellersville, Pa.
