Section 337 Investigation of Paper Shredders Terminated. The ITC on Jan. 25 instituted a Section 337 investigation of certain paper shredders, certain processes for manufacturing or related to the same, certain products containing the same and certain parts thereof from China. On Nov. 7, all complainants and respondents jointly moved to terminate the investigation based on a settlement agreement and consent order or the withdrawal of the complaint. The administrative law judge in charge of this proceeding subsequently granted this motion and terminated the investigation, and the ITC has determined not to review this decision.

Section 337 Investigation of Outdoor Grills Amended. The ITC on Sept. 26 instituted a Section 337 investigation of certain multiple mode outdoor grills and parts thereof from China and Thailand. The complainants subsequently requested that the ALJ in charge amend the complaint and notice of investigation to change the name of two respondents and substitute one respondent for another company. The ALJ on Dec. 4 granted the complainants’ motion and the ITC has decided not to review this decision.
