Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The ITC initiated in June 2012 a Section 337 investigation of certain mobile phones, tablet computers and components thereof from Taiwan. On Sept. 23, 2013, the administrative law judge in charge of the proceeding issued a final ID finding a violation of Section 337. That decision was subsequently appealed by the respondent and on Feb. 7 the complainant and respondent jointly moved to terminate the investigation based on a settlement agreement. The ITC has decided to grant the motion and end the investigation.
