Fourth Foreign-Trade Zone Established in Upstate New York

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has authorized the establishment under the alternative site framework of FTZ 290 in Cortland County, N.Y. This is the fourth FTZ adjacent to the Syracuse U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry; the others are FTZ 90 in Onondaga County, FTZ 172 in Oneida County and FTZ 285 in Chenango County. The authorization of the new zone is subject to the standard 2,000-acre activation limit.
