Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has determined that further review is warranted of a notification of proposed production activity at the CSI Calendering Inc. facility in Arlington, Texas, which is used for the calendering, slitting and laminating of RFL (resorcinol formaldehyde latex) textile fabric. The FTZ Board has therefore not authorized the proposed activity and states that if the applicant wishes to seek such authorization it will need to submit an application for production authority.

Separately, the FTZ Board has authorized production activity under zone procedures at the Siemens Energy Inc. facilities within FTZ 161 in Sedgwick County, Kan., which are used for the production of wind turbine nacelles and hubs.
